Limited Warranty on EnergyMiser™ Furnaces, Heat Pumps
and Air Conditioners
Our EnergyMiser™ Heating or Air Conditioning product are warranted by EnergyMiser™ to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance, as described below:
The Compressor and or Heat Exchanger are warranted for the Lifetime of the original purchaser and his or her spouse, or for so long as either of them owns the home in which it was originally installed ( whichever ends first). This lifetime warranty is only valid on single family residence.
In addition to the above parts warranty EnergyMiser™ will provide labor to replace the heat exchanger and or compressor for a period of one year from date of installation.
In addition to the above warranty EnergyMiser™ will replace any other component or part for 10 years from date of installation.
If above conditions are not met, the warranty does not apply and the new warranty will be 20 years from date of install for the Heat Exchanger and 10 years for the compressor.
These warranties do not apply to any other cost associated with the maintenance or operation of the product.
These warranties are in lieu of all other express warranties.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
ENERGYMISER™ SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EXTRA UTILITY EXPENSES OR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY.
Brothers is not responsible for:
- Damage as a result of floods, fires, winds, lighting, accidents, corrosive atmosphere or other conditions beyond the control of Brothers.
- Use of components or accessories not compatible with this unit
- Normal maintenance as described in the installation and operation manual, such as cleaning of the coils, filters, burners, heat exchanger or lubrication.
- Parts not supplied by Brothers.
- Work performed or parts replaced by others.
- Damage or repairs required as a result of any improper use, maintenance, operation or servicing.
- Failure to start due to interruption of Gas or Electrical service.
- Any damage caused by frozen or broken water pipes in the event of equipment failure.
- Changes in the appearance of the product that do not affect its performance.
